The fast food chain added a limited-time item to the menu—the frightening new Ghost Pepper Whopper with Orange Bun, which will match perfectly with any purple and orange spirited decorations this year. According to the official press release from Burger King, the new burger “includes everything Burger King Guests love about the Whopper with a spicy twist – a flame-grilled beef patty, spicy queso, crispy jalapeños, bacon, and ghost pepper cheese, all on a toasted orange and black sesame seed bun.” The menu item’s limited-time run kicked off Oct. 10. Along with the new, spicy burger sure to have your taste buds running scared, Burger King is releasing a new feature in the Burger King app, an electromagnetic field ghost detector that will lead you to wonder if you have spirits haunting your home. The Home of the Ghosts feature, as Burger King named it, also includes a great treat for anyone who uses it: a meal for two of the Ghost Pepper Whopper. The new feature, and the special Ghost Pepper Whopper meal for two, are only available to Royal Perks Members through the Burger King app. This offer will be available Oct. 17 through Oct. 31. But even if you aren’t a Royal Perks Member, you can still get your hands on one of the limited-time burgers at Burger King locations nationwide. The Ghost Pepper Whopper will be available on menus until Oct. 31, or while supplies last. Burger King’s spooky Whopper is the most recent of many Halloween-themed menu items from various fast food joints. Recently, Dunkin’ revealed new menu items such as the Blood Orange Refresher and the Peanut Butter Cup Macchiato, available for a limited time only, alongside the Dunk-O-Lantern Donut and the Spider Specialty Donut. A few other places that have announced seasonal promotions include Chipotle and McDonald’s. More News:
