While taking Vanity Fair’s lie detector test with her Glass Onion co-star Janelle Monáe, Hudson proved that she does kiss and tell while revealing which actor—or actress—was her best on-screen kiss. After Monáe showed Hudson photos of some former co-stars, including Matthew McConaughey, Billy Crudup and Dane Cook, the Fabletics co-founder admitted that none of the famous actors could top her smooch with actress Liv Tyler, who she famously kissed in the 2000 film Dr. T & the Women. “She beats them all,” Hudson exclaimed, to which the polygraph examiner confirmed, ‘That’s true." The blonde bombshell—who nicknamed Tyler “Poopy Schpoops”—then explained that the two women have since reflected on their on-screen kiss, wishing that they gave it a little more oomph. “We to this day are like, ‘Why didn’t we go for it more with our making out?’” she spilled. “Like, she has the softest lips of them all,” Hudson added, while gushing, “Oh my god those lips, those Tyler lips!” But her kiss with Tyler wasn’t the only lip-locking moment she discussed during the polygraph test, as she also recalled smooching Crudup, who she co-starred with in the 2000 rom-com Almost Famous. She said that Crudup kisses were “gentler” than those of McConaughey, who played her love interest in both How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (2003) and Fool’s Gold (2008.) “I think Billy is a gentler kisser,” she said. “I wouldn’t say better. But definitely…definitely just gentler.” “It’s a more sophisticated version of a kiss,” she added. But things got even more interesting after Monáe slid her a photo of Cook, who infamously called Hudson his worst on-screen kiss in the past. “No, no,” Hudson replied, while scrunching up her face in disgust and yelling, “Canceled!” with a laugh. In 2014, Cook said that Hudson must have eaten “a feast of onions” before their kiss, according to Page Six, although he later backtracked on the statement, saying that the pair “had so much fun” and were “pals.” Let’s face it—there’s no way that a rom-com icon like Hudson doesn’t have the kissing skills to back it up!
