The show, premiering Aug. 5 on discovery+, follows classically trained chef and culinary anthropologist Casey Corn as she helps people rediscover lost family recipes—and Parade.com has an exclusive first look at the trailer below! “This show comes out of my love of people and their food stories. Family recipes are generally not made by chefs, but by people who cook to feed their families,” Corn told Parade.com.  She added, “These recipes are a combination of the family’s roots, what they have had access to over the years, and how their descendants have eaten and modified it. I think it’s fascinating to see how unique recipes can be from family to family, and yet, how they represent the culinary history of humanity as a whole.” Magnolia Network The show, which Corn described as a “fun mix of family and culinary history,” explores what makes recipes and the people behind them unique. The Recipe Lost and Found star said, “Every one of these recipes is a bit of a puzzle, and putting the pieces together is a delicious adventure!”  Corn hopes the show “brings back delicious memories of food with their own loved ones.” In addition to Recipe Lost and Found, Magnolia Network is introducing three other originals this year: Fixer Upper: Welcome Home – The Castle, The Silos Baking Competition and The Home Team With Britt And Annie. “We’re so proud of the stories that launched Magnolia Network,” Chip and Joanna said in a previous press release. “The people we’ve met, who have allowed us to share a piece of their world with you, make it clear that everyday, everywhere, there are creators, path makers, and explorers in bold pursuit of beautiful ambitions. We’ve just scratched the surface—there are so many stories yet to be told on Magnolia Network, and we can’t wait to watch them unfold.” Tune into Recipe Lost and Found on discovery+ Aug. 5.
