Starting on Oct. 18, head on down to your local participating McDonald’s to get your hands on one of three collectible pails, inspired by the original nostalgic designs: McBoo, McPunk’n and McGoblin. The buckets made their debut with these designs in 1986, and they were reliably present—in different variations and colors, of course—throughout 20 Halloween seasons. Fans collected their favorite designs each year, and many have come up with creative, sustainable ways to put them to good use, from floating ghost decor to hanging planters. And, of course, they always made for good trick-or-treating pails, too. But after 2016, according to CNET, the pails vanished into thin air, lost to the netherworld, and they will again after Oct. 31, so don’t waste any time in picking up yours. More News:
