“Noah Cyrus is only famous bc she’s miley’s sister. Yeah, she wrote ‘July’ but like that’s it. Homegirl is just clout chasing her older sister,” the video states.  Noah, 22, claimed to be triggered by the first part of the video, only to realize that the user was just kidding, and added a follow-up clip of herself jamming out to Noah’s song, “I Burned LA Down.”  “The way I needed a trigger warning on that first part tho 😩🤣,” the singer wrote in the caption on her response video, which featured her lip syncing the lyrics to her own song.  “I was about to throw hands,” one of her fans wrote in the comments, with Noah agreeing, “Me when I first watched it … 😅😮‍💨😩.”  Plenty more fans were also quick to jump to her defense, including one who wrote, “Noah is an icon, she built her own empire,” along with a second user who called the claims in the video “FALSE.”  The creator who posted the original video later had to explain to upset fans that she was only joking, adding that she is actually a big fan of the singer.  “The first 1/2 [of the video] is just part of a trend,” she explained in a pinned comment on the now-viral video.  While it may have been in good fun, the TikToker seems to have touched on a sore subject for Noah, who has previously spoken out about living in Miley’s shadow.  Noah, who is seven years younger than the Hannah Montana star, has said she “had a hard time” growing up as part of a famous family, noting that people would constantly come up to her and ask, “Are you Miley Cyrus’ little sister?” or “Are you Hannah Montana’s little sister?”  “I did not like that,” she told Rolling Stone in July. “It stripped me of my own identity for a long time.”  But with age and time, Noah has been able to find her own sound, and was even nominated for her first Grammy in 2021 for Best New Artist.  And Miley seems to be extra supportive of her little sister’s music career, as they previously released their first official collaboration of Noah’s “I Got So High That I Saw Jesus” track off her EP, THE END OF EVERYTHING.  More News:
