Buckingham Palace announced the news that Eugenie gave birth to a son weighing 8lbs 1oz this morning at a London hospital. A picture of the couple on their wedding day was posted on the royal family’s official Instagram account with the caption, “Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie was safely delivered of a son today, 9th February 2021, at 0855hrs at The Portland Hospital. Jack Brooksbank was present.” It went on to say that “The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Duke of York, Sarah, Duchess of York, and Mr and Mrs George Brooksbank are delighted with the news.” Eugenie posted her own adorable picture to mark the occasion, of her and her husband holding the hand of their newborn infant, with a caption that expressed a thousand words: three blue heart emojis.
