As the holidays creep ever closer, the Four Christmases actress is sharing a little bit of her decorating expertise with her Instagram followers to make sure they’re well-prepared for any decor snafus. In a new Instagram Reel shared earlier today, Dec. 17, the Draper James founder shared a “Holiday Tutorial” entitled “What To Do with Tangled Lights.” In the video, Witherspoon wore a chic, festively plaid dress with puffy sleeves and a ruffled hem. She appeared to be standing in her foyer, with a giant decorative garland secured to the staircase behind her and a classic wooden sled posed underneath it. On the floor in front of her sat a cardboard box filled with a tangle of colorful string lights. The Reel, set to Michael Bublé’s “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas,” found Witherspoon examining the mess before her, giving a feeble attempt or two to tug a strand loose before giving up and walking away. “Fa la la la nah… 🎄😂,” she captioned the comical clip. “Gifting you our light organizer this Christmas 🎄😂,” The Home Edit’s account commented. “Just hang them from the ceiling with a giant bow and ribbon,” one follower offered as a solution. “Buy new ones! That’s the best advise! [sic] Lol,” another countered. We’re sure she’ll give the lights their fair shot before completely giving up on them, but we feel that urge to give up!
