Marking the first look at the steamy new film, both Hayek and Tatum featured a still from the highly-anticipated movie to their Instagram profiles—and let’s just say Tatum’s abs may have stolen the show. In the sultry shot, Hayek, 56, is seen tracing her hand over her co-star’s ripped six-pack, as Tatum, 42, holds up his shirt and guides her hand along his torso, which is enough to make fans count down the days until the movie release. Tatum shared the post to his Instagram page on Friday, Oct. 21, along with the caption, “All good things begin in Miami,” while the Frida actress also uploaded the film still for her own Instagram followers to see, accompanied by the caption, “A tease of what’s to come in theaters this Valentine’s Day weekend. You’re not going to want to miss #MagicMikesLastDance 🔥.” “OMG! We needed this combo,” one commenter wrote on Hayek’s post. “Salma I would definitely do the same with those abs,’ another added. “Just put Channing on the dance floor. Clothes or none. I will watch. He moves great. And you’re beautiful!!” someone else wrote. The upcoming film—the third in the Magic Mike series—came as a surprise for many viewers. 2015’s Magic Mike XXL was initially expected to be the last movie until director Steven Soderbergh saw the Magic Mike Live Las Vegas show. “As soon as I saw what Channing, [writer] Reid [Carolin], and the Magic Mike choreographic team did with the live show, I said we have to make another movie,” Soderbergh said, per Entertainment Tonight. “Mike Lane’s dream of connecting people through dance must be realized!” Soderbergh, who directed the original movie, will take the lead on the upcoming film, which is expected to hit theaters and stream on HBO Max on Feb. 10, 2023.
