In a hilarious sitdown on SiriusXM last week with TODAY anchors Al Roker, Dylan Dreyer and Sheinelle Jones, Jackson actually lamented the fact that the romantic drama has finally returned to Starz for Season 6, because it means his wife’s infatuation for all things Fraser’s Ridge has come roaring back as well. “My wife was so hype for Outlander [on] Sunday,” Jackson said. He then coined our new favorite way to describe the epic time-traveling series when he added, “Her Scottish porn was back!” Jackson’s reaction to the Season 6 debut also included calling Caitriona Balfe’s character, Claire Fraser, “that girl… still running back and forth in time;” as for Sam Heughan’s onscreen alter ego, Jamie Fraser, Jackson expressed empathy for him when he said, “That dude’s been through everything.” While Jackson may not seem thrilled that Outlander is back, it seems he can’t stop thinking about it—even subconsciously, as he admitted that, in his dreams at least, he’s clearly a Heughligan! “I know who they are because they’re in my dreamscape at night,” he said. “‘Cause when I go to bed, my wife watches that.
