As the montage shuffles through a series of sun-filled selfies, Israel Kamakawiwo’ole’s familiar medley, “Somewhere Over The Rainbow/What A Wonderful World”, can be heard playing softly in the background. “Took two weeks offline to spend family and friend time [sic]. It was just what I needed. Here’s a little of what I’ve been up to,” Gellar casually stated in the caption. It looks like the Emmy award-winning actress not only took time off to dip her toes in the sand, but to exercise her need for a little adventure as evidenced by the video. In between shots of the 45-year-old relaxing shoreside with a book (for those curious, she was pictured reading Reputation by Sarah Vaughan) and enjoying quality time with loved ones, the former Buffy the Vampire Slayer star showed off her love for water sports. Gellar shared shots of her underwater snorkeling with friends and posing gracefully on a paddle board surrounded by turquoise water and a palm tree paradise. While some onlookers reveled in her memories from her trip, others took the opportunity to push for an early release of the actress’ latest projects. One in particular, Jeff Davis, a writer and producer known for his work creating TV series Criminal Minds and Teen Wolf, commented: “Get back to work!” In reference to Gellar’s participation in the upcoming Paramount+ series and Teen Wolf spinoff coming later this year, Wolf Pack. In case you missed it, in addition to Wolf Pack, Gellar is also set to make an appearance in Clerks III alongside Kevin Smith, Ben Affleck, Jason Mewes, and Rosario Dawson which premieres on Sept. 13.
