(SPOILER ALERT! If you haven’t watched the Season 2 finale of Ted Lasso, stop reading now!) The Season 2 ender left fans with more questions than answers as Ted (Jason Sudeikis) dealt with the aftermath of a tell-all article by The Independent’s Trent Crimm (James Lance) about Ted’s panic attack at the Tottenham match. An angry Nate (Nick Mohammed) stormed off the pitch while the rest of the team celebrated their promotion back to the premier league and Sam (Toheeb Jimoh) made the decision to stay with Richmond instead of joining billionaire Edwin Akufo’s (Sam Richardson) non-existent football team. In the aftermath of the team’s promotion, Roy and Keeley’s relationship came to a crossroads. The fan-favorite couple saw Roy and Keeley starting to veer in different directions as Keeley’s career was beginning to skyrocket as she left AFC Richmond to open up her own PR firm. Roy questioned whether he’s standing in the way of her success and if he’s good enough to walk beside her. The career-oriented Keeley declined Roy’s romantic gesture of a six-week holiday getaway in favor of working on her startup firm, so who is Roy going to invite with that extra ticket? Will he invite Jamie Tartt (Phil Dunster), his new (not really) bestie? Or perhaps he’ll take his bruv, Isaac Macadoo (Kola Bokinni)? Or will he invite the comely Ms. Bowen (Ruth Bradley), Phoebe’s teacher who he seems to have a good rapport with? The same teacher Roy neglected to mention his girlfriend after she asked if he was married. Fans reacted to the possible end of Roy and Keeley on social media: Going into the third (and likely final) season of Ted Lasso, we have so many questions for the producers and cast: What is Rupert (Anthony Stewart Head) whispering into Nate’s ear? Will Nate be a successful coach without Ted or will he get his comeuppance? Will Sam and Rebecca (Hannah Waddingham) get back together? When will Sam’s Nigerian restaurant open and can I reserve a table? Will Roy and Keeley stay together and get their happily-ever-after or will they part and go their separate ways? We’ll have to wait to wait and see! Next, Sorry, Miss Shipley! We’ve Rounded Up the Best Easter Eggs from Ted Lasso Seasons 1 and 2
