Nine years ago, on Nov. 30, 2013, Walker passed away in a car accident. After his death, many of his co-stars from the Fast & Furious film series highlighted the actor’s kindness and shared how much they miss him. Even though it’s been almost a decade since his death, Diesel still took the time to publicly remember Walker on Nov. 30, posting a photo of the two together on Instagram alongside a short but to-the-point message: “Nine years… love you and miss you.” Along with his friends and family, Walker’s fans also miss him a lot, and Diesel’s post led many to share their love of the late actor and his legacy in the comments. One person wrote, “our Brian will never be forgotten 💙,” referring to Walker’s Fast & Furious character, Brian O’Conner. Others quoted meaningful lines from the films, including one said by Diesel’s character Dominic Toretto: “No matter where you are, whether it’s a quarter-mile away or halfway around the world, you’ll always be with me and you’ll always be my brother.” The line is from Furious 7, the 2015 film that completed Walker’s last appearance posthumously with the help of his brother, Cody Walker, and CGI. The movie was extra meaningful after the loss, with the movie’s song, “See You Again” by Wiz Khalifa, becoming a goodbye letter of sorts to Walker. Many fans also quoted “See You Again” under Diesel’s post, such as one who commented the lyric, “We’ve come a long way from where we began, I’ll tell you all about it when I see you again.” Last year, Jordana Brewster, who plays Mia Toretto, Dom’s sister and Brian’s wife, in the Fast & Furious franchise, spoke to People about how she remembers Walker. She spoke about his birthday on Sept. 12, saying, “Every year, I have a way of honoring him on his birthday and remembering him and celebrating him. And I think that’s also part of what’s nice about when the [Fast & Furious] cast is together is that we do honor and celebrate him as well.” More News:
