After the vast majority of his game had him masterfully playing the middle, Sami finally got caught and wound up on the wrong side of the vote last round. Even when he was one out of four targets, he looked to slip by when Karla’s paranoia had her wanting to turn on her closest ally Cassidy. But Jesse turned the tides yet again, fearing Sami would be a threat in the firemaking challenge. And the nail in his coffin came with the Shot in the Dark, which he openly declared he’d be using at Tribal Council. So when it failed, that led to an open-and-shut unanimous vote.
